Canadian Music Centre has a large lending library of Canadian music written primarily since 1950, in addition to CDs and performance materials by Associate Composers.
Prairie Sky Music publishes the works of Maryanne Rumancik and also selected fellow composers. The objective of Prairie Sky Music Publishing is to make new music more available to both the performer and listener.
The mandate of the Canadian University Music Society is fourfold: to stimulate musical research, performance, composition, and pedagogy in Canadian universities through scholarly papers, concerts, symposia, and publications; to provide a forum for the exchange of views and information and the discussion of common problems among musicians in Canadian universities; to maintain and strengthen the position of music study in Canadian universities; and to advise on new university programs and monitor exisiting programs.
